My name is Olesia Wais.

A few things about me.

At the age of 16, I won a competition and spent a year at Free State High School in the States United States. At the age of 17 I moved from Ukraine to Poland and finished studies in Tourism Management (in Polish) and Aviation Management (in English). In 2022 I have defended my PhD in Economics on competitive position of air carriers in Poland (in Polish).

I have experience in scientific work; conducting research; preparing scientific articles for publication and reviewing scientific articles. I have published in foreign scientific journals with a high Impact Factor (from the so-called Philadelphia list) in cooperation with Polish and foreign scientists. I have an H-index of 3 (WoS) / 5 (GoogleScholar).

I have a keen interest in the implementation of AI in science and business.

I am a co-creator of CoeditorAI, an R package with an RStudio IDE Addin that utilizes the LLM to provide assistance with writing, editing and translating text.. 

I am a consultant for Elicit, an AI research assistant, where my responsibilities include: validation of AI-based tools; formulating requirements and suggestions for improvements to the scientific literature analysis tool; auditing the quality of reports generated using AI in the field of economics; comparative evaluation of competitive scientific literature analysis tools based on Large Language Models (LLM).

Additionally, as an AI trainer, I have contributed to AI training projects by: creating diverse prompts; evaluating responses generated by large language models (LLMs), participating in peer review and quality assurance processes by rating and providing feedback on the work of fellow AI trainers.

I regularly participate in courses focused on the application of AI in business and scientific research. I use AI-based tools in my everyday life.
